Thick yoghurt guaranteed – because homemade yoghurt simply tastes best, and with this recipe, you can make it yourself. Not only is it more sustainable, it’s also very easy! All you need is milk and yoghurt cultures or a pot of yoghurt.
Ingredients for yoghurt
- 1000 ml raw milk
- 180 g yoghurt, min. 3.5% fat
Preparation
- Heat the milk to approximately 90 degrees and allow it to simmer at this temperature for approximately 10 minutes.
- Allow the milk to cool to 45 degrees. Now stir the yoghurt well into the milk. Pour the mixture into sterile jars that have been rinsed with hot water and seal them.
- Place in a steamer at 45 degrees for 4 hours.
- Then place in the refrigerator overnight for approx. 8-12 hours and enjoy.
Simply place your favourite chocolate in the yoghurt jars before pouring in the yoghurt mixture, and you will end up with a delicious chocolate yoghurt.
▷ Save old jam, honey or even pickle jars. You can reuse them again and again. Take a walk through the supermarket and look at all the products in resealable jars.

Equipment
- 8 Gläser mit Deckel
Ingredients
- 1000 ml Rohmilch
- 180 g Joghurt min. 3,5% Fett
Instructions
- Erhitze die Milch auf ungefähr 90 Grad und lasse sie bei dieser Temperatur für ca. fünf Minuten weiter köcheln.
- Lasse die Milch anschließend auf 45 Grad abkühlen. Jetzt den Joghurt in der Milch gut verrühren. Die Mischung nun in die sterilen , vorher heiss ausgespülte Gläser füllen, verschließen und für 4 Stunden bei 45 Grad in einen Steamer stellen. Es geht natürlich auch sehr gut in einem altem Joghurt Maker.
- Danach über Nacht (ca. 8 Stunden) in den Kühlschrank und dann geniessen.
